Addictions You Read
The Bitter Trilogy: Bitter, Still Bitter and Bitter Family Secrets (fiction): Vick Breedy wrote a trilogy about the challenges women face within their families, friendships and relationships. Despite the titles, these books don’t advocate bitterness. They show what happens to a person when they become bitter.
Stereotyped*: This is Vick Breedy's first novel with all male characters. This is a story about Black men and the challenges they face as a grossly stereotyped group. Black men are feared because Black men are Stereotyped*.
Reviewers describe Breedy’s books as being hard to put down, juicy, page-turners that should be made into movies.

The Stereotyped * Men's Journal: Specifically for Black and Brown Men
Vick Breedy created this journal specifically for Stereotyped* men to fill the pages with their thoughts and document their behaviors surrounding self-care. Breedy wants these men to start looking at self-care as if their lives depend on it (because it does). She wants Black and Brown men to TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES! Throughout these pages, the author left self-care notes to reflect on. You can use them as a guide or a moment of reference to pause and dig deeper. And if at any point you feel unmotivated, you'll also find pages with words of encouragement and advice gifted by Stereotyped* Black and Brown men.

Selfish Women's Group: Vick Breedy wrote a book about some of the issues that threaten Black women's ability to practice self-care. This story entertains you and simultaneously educates you on the importance of practicing self-care and how easy it is to lose sight of it. Breedy highlights the behaviors that make it difficult to lighten the load Black women carry. This story is about Black women and their attempts to heal through self-care.
The Selfish Women's Group Journal: Journaling is a tool that Vick Breedy uses to practice self-care. She created this journal to give women an opportunity to give themselves grace and relearn who they are through a self-care lens.

Bounce Back Magic: This novel is meant to serve as an acknowledgement. The vulnerability expressed in this novel is the author's way of saying, "I see you!" Vick Breedy wrote this novel to highlight Black women's remarkable ability to tap into their Bounce Back Magic when faced with adversity.

Fluorescent Black Album Poetry: (And Some Poetic Inside Thoughts) opens with poetry from Vick Breedy's album, Fluorescent Black: A Poetic Pivot. It continues with poetry Breedy wrote throughout singlehood, grief, marriage, divorce and at the beginning of a new relationship. Just like the novels she writes, these poems tell a vulnerable, yet relatable, story. Breedy's poetry feels like a poetic conversation with a confidant she's compelled to reveal her inside thoughts to.
